One member of staff advised our group to sit where we wanted for drinks and then another came and asked us to move right away? Otherwise decent staff and pints you can't argue with

Great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere. The primrose is worth a visit for dinner or just a drink and with live music at the weekends you'll be well entertained as well.
Disappointing - sums up our experience of this restaurant. We ordered the cod and chips. The fish was undercooked and fell short of the expected quality. To their credit we were offered an alternative meal. Unfortunately we were not impressed and the word tasteless was used by my partner to describe her meal. She believed that her mash was reheated.
The most beautiful restaurant & bar I've ever visited. Been going many years. The new manager has really went out of the way to breathe new life into the place. Food and service is amazing.
